Four million Labour voters and 180 Labour seats have been lost since 1997. We won just 12 seats in the Southern regions of England at the General Election. At the start of this leadership election I said I wanted to rediscover our party's radical organising tradition. That's why I've raised the money to train 1000 Labour Party members in the skills of community organising by the end of the leadership contest. We are going to need to organise if we're going to stop the Tory Lib Dem cuts from hitting our most disadvantaged communities the hardest.
